Under the Air Force’s new Pilot Candidate Selection Method (PCSM) scoring system, pilots with some flight time already logged can use this flight time to improve their PCSM score and thus improve their shot at a pilot spot.

Our PCSM Flight Hour packages have helped Air Force Academy Cadets improve their PCSM scores and earn coveted slots since our founding. Each year, multiple students we’ve worked with have been awarded pilot slots because, in part, their score was improved by flying with our instructors.

Description

The PCSM Points are awarded in increments and brackets include:

Zero (0) hours;

One to five (1-5) hours;

Six to ten (6-10) hours;

Eleven to twenty (11-20) hours;

Twenty-one to forty (21-40) hours;

and forty-one plus (41+) hours.

To maximize benefit, we offer two pre-pay packages: 21 hours and 41 hours. Though typical flight instruction toward a civilian flying certificate often involves plentiful ground training, this package does not and is focused entirely on training in the air to help candidates prepare for and gain experience related to initial flight training (IFT). This training is available in any of our time-building aircraft.

This flight time is logged flight instruction from an FAA-certificated flight instructor and the logbook entries we provide have been previously verified by AFA COs.

Our staff are available to further verify completion of flight hours to your Command as necessary.

Many of our instructors and community members come from the Air Force and other military branches and we are always thrilled to make introductions that can help cadets achieve their flying and other goals, whatever they may be.

Pre-pay deals are non-refundable. Pay-as-you-go flight training is available at the regular advertised price. Ground instruction is not included with these packages.
